Nepal Pets helps people list pets for adoption, report missing or found pets, and share sightings. This policy explains what we collect, how listing information is shared, and the choices available to you.

- Listing details you submit, such as pet information, photos, description, status, and general location.
- Contact details you choose to add: email address, mobile number, and/or a Facebook, Instagram, or other source link.
- Information in adoption inquiries and missing-pet sighting reports, including the reporter's contact details if provided.
- Basic technical information needed to operate and secure the website, such as request and browser data.
Contact details and your consent
Adding an email address, mobile number, or contact/source link to a listing is your consent for Nepal Pets to make that method available to people viewing the listing. Email and mobile details are available through the listing's Contact action; a source link is displayed as the listing's contact route and opens the linked post or profile.
Only add contact details that you are authorised to share. Do not submit another person's private contact details without their permission. If we create a listing from a public social-media post, we may use the original post link instead of publishing private contact information.
How we use and share information
- To publish and manage pet listings, inquiries, and sightings.
- To help visitors contact a listing poster through the contact method provided.
- To moderate listings, prevent misuse, respond to support requests, and keep the service secure.
- When required by applicable law or a valid legal request.
We do not sell personal information.
Public listings and third-party links
Pet details, photos, general location, and descriptions are public once a listing is published. Take care not to include sensitive personal information in these fields. Links to Facebook, Instagram, or other websites are governed by those services' own privacy practices; Nepal Pets does not control their content or data handling.
Your choices
You may ask us to correct, update, or remove a listing or contact method by emailing [email protected]. We may need enough information to identify the listing before making a change.
Security and retention
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no online service is completely secure. We retain information for as long as needed to operate the service, resolve issues, meet legal obligations, or maintain necessary records.
